Dust God, Slime God.

Act I:
Two ancient ‘gods’ sit on stage playing in their respective material pools.
(2 baby pools one white/beige-dust & one black/brown-slime)

Dust God starts by sewing a small worm (burlap sack material) and filling it with dust.
Hands worm to Slime God
Slime God puts the worm in slime but the slime won’t stick
Slime God pulls out the Slime Worm from inside her pool. (red vinyl worm slightly larger)
Dust God tries to put dust on slime worm but it wont stick
Act II:

Dust God grabs-
The first egg (wool felt over the baby doll [in 2 parts but secured together]) is found.
The doll is covered in a felt egg. They break the doll out from the egg together. They coddle it and hold it like mothers after birth.
They both become selfish and fight over the doll, ripping it in half.
Looking for a way to fix it, they find the body parts (under black silks)
They place the doll in the sack first (representing their twisted motherly love)
Then they place the body parts made in their image (representing the next being taking on their form)
And finally they add slime and dust. (the materials of creation)
Dust God and Slime God close the bag and grab mallets and start crushing the plaster body parts in with the other compounds. They do this over a large pan[think of the acoustics!] so that anything that oozes out is contained and then collected after the extraction. They put the resulting concoction in a measurement beaker.
Act III:
Dust God goes into the doorway.
Enter baby fully encapsulated in wool.
Slime God comes to help and Gods bring her to the spot in between the pools.
They open up the top and reveal baby head.
They break open the side to reveal her arms.
They cover the arms and head in the essence.
The Gods walk her around and show her the wonders of the universe.
She eats fries.
She shakes hands with the audience.
She chants and plays drums.
A peer gives her a walkman and tape.
She starts to get bored and by herself she.
She runs away from us.
Act IV:
Dust God is distant. Slime God is clingy.
Slime God tries to win back her affection by showing her the origins of her being.
She shows her all the worms then digs the doll out of the sack of body parts.
Dust God gets jealous
and the gods start fighting over the wool baby
They tear off her shell completely and she is wearing a disco dress underneath.
She runs up to the stage and plays the tape in the walkman (Cher’s “Strong Enough”)
The Gods begin to melt and run out of the venue as show is taken over by Baby dancing
